iron fragments in winter — poem 7, day 7

Here’s day 7, poem 7 for NaPoWriMo!

iron fragments in winter  — Max Wolf Valerio    April 7, 2012

snow         tips      the branches

an elegant

enigma

sloping

              unfolding

     sequences

                   icicles                 skim across          the lake

 opening

          a competition with metal              implements

    anvil         and chain                  swinging

           winter clad iron

drills        — gray and

                              black smoke                 trains

                              cold approaching signals –

ice steel formation               thoughts inside  —   an enveloping dark space
